FYI many of you probably don’t know we also run ECOMAR a non-profit organization in Belize dedicated to preserving our marine ecosystems. ECOMAR coordnates the Belize Coral Watch Program, Belize Lionfish Project, Robinson Point Turtle Project, Gallow’s Point Point Turtle Project and Reef Rally: Unique Marine Life Assessments. ECOMAR also launched in 2010 the St. George’s Caye Research Station and Field School that is the base for studies on the historical importance of St. George’s Caye, sea turtles, West Indian manatees, American crocodiles and bottlenose dolphins. The staff of Sea Sports Belize is small and includes John and Linda Searle, owner, dive instructor, biologist and anthropoligist. Darlene Rhaburn greets all our guests when they first walk into our shop with a big beautiful smile! Jayson Camille also works in our sales area and is will help you get ready for your trip along with our Divemaster/Instructor Jamani Balderamos and Captain/Divemaster Paul Hyde. These are our full time staff, but we have many part time staff that help us when you choose Sea Sports Belize as your guide while visiting. We wish we could have them on staff full time, but we will need more of you to choose our services so we can make this happen. Other staff currently working with us part time include Eli “Hi I’m from LA” Rodriguez, Herbie Eagan, Feliciana Chen, Valentine Rosado, and Felipe Ancona. After being in business for 15 years we are finally starting our very first Blog. Wasn’t reallyt sure what this is but it seems to be your very own newspaper online with archives. Should be fun!
