Day Trips...Tied for 1st Place!
SEA SPORTS BELIZE
"Is there enough time to dive the Blue Hole?"
While we like to be positive and say "Yes, we would have enough time to run out there, do a
quick dive and head back."  The truth is the trip takes about 2 1/2 hours each way and we would
need at least 10 persons to pay $220 each plus there is a $30 park fee for visiting the Blue Hole.
The trip is therefore costly and by limiting yourself to the Blue Hole you are really missing 3 really
important parts of this trip, mainly Half Moon Caye itself, Half Moon Caye Wall dive, and Long
Caye Wall dive.  But if course if money is no object and this is something you must do while you
are in Belize for the day you'll need to provide proof that you are an experienced diver and be
willing to foot the bill for the entire trip if it is only you that is booking the trip.  We always
recommend try out Barrier Reef dive sites, and we hope that you will enjoy these enough and our
personalized service that you'll return for a week where diving the Blue Hole will only be one of
the highlights of your trip.

Frequently asked Questions...
Day Trips...Tied for 1st Place!
"Is there enough time for our 2 tank Barrier Reef Dive so that I won't miss
my ship?"
Due to the proximity of our Barrier Reef Dive sites and the fact that they are really nice, we have
plenty of time for this trip.  It takes about 4-5 hours and during the day while we are on the reef,
we can actually see the tops of the cruise ships over the mangrove cayes that run parallel to the
reef.  So yes, there is plenty of time, and in fact in our 10+ years of working with divers off the
cruise ship, no one has ever missed their boat and we guarantee you will not!
"How can we confirm the trip?"
We take out small groups and as such we are limited in the number of persons we can
accommodate on a given day. Once we reach a certain number we must turn away business.
Therefor if you would like to confirm a trip with us, we ask for a 50% payment upon booking and
the balance due within 30 days of the trip.  We accept payment via a Credit Card Authorization
form, Pay Pal, or even a personal check or United States Postal Money Order if there is enough
time.
"Will you refund our payment if the ship does not come into port?"
For whatever reason if your ship does not come into port the week you are scheduled to be on it,
then of course we will refund your payment in full.
"What if the weather is bad, will you cancel the trip?"
Very rarely have we had to cancel a trip due to weather conditions.  If the weather is that bad
usually the ship does not come into port.  If it is VERY windy and rainy or if a hurricane is looming
on the horizon then we will cancel a trip.  If the weather looks iffy and you have a trip confirmed
with us, we ask that you come to our dive shop at the scheduled time and check in.  Often it will
rain in the early morning and clear-up and so when it does we head out.  If it is raining lightly most
of our divers do not mind getting wet since where they are coming from is about 50 degrees
cooler!
"What's for lunch?"
While we don't often provide a feast for lunch, we do provide a turkey or tuna sandwich on whole
wheat bread with lettuce.  This is served which chips and cookies and we provide soft drinks and
water.  We also try to find the sweetest pineapple to enjoy after the dives.  Please let us know if
you have any dietary restriction when booking so we can offer an alternative.
"How do I find your shop once in Belize?"
We are less than one block from the cruise terminal where you arrive.  Once your trip is confirmed
we will email you a confirmation sheet with directions and a map.  You can click on the map for
directions, but please keep in mind that we recommend you book in advance so that we have
space to accommodate you while you are in Belize for the day.  If you just come to our shop and
do not book in advance, chances are we will be full and we will feel bad that we cannot show you
our Belize.
